Best high school graduates from Serbia and Republic of Srpska awarded at White palace reception

– Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine hosted, for the eighteenth consecutive year, the traditional reception for more than 600 best high school students from Serbia and the Republic of Srpska, at the White Palace in Dedinje.

Addressing guests and organizers HRH Crown Princess Katherine emphasized: Every secondary school in Serbia and the Republic of Srpska selects a valedictorian among the graduates, to whom the Foundation for Education and Culture of HRH Crown Prince Alexander awards a commendation and appropriate gift in recognition of their exceptional results achieved in high school.

“I congratulate you on your great success and I wish you to continue to be the best in the future, too. You are the future of Serbia and Republika Srpska. Be proud of the knowledge you have acquired and put it in the service of our country and all its citizens“ – said the Crown Prince in his speech. His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander thanked for the great help the partners in this project – companies NCR Corporation and Link Group. “NCR has been actively investing in development and improvement of conditions for youth education so that numerous talents of our country can continue with their education here and achieve success in their country. By assisting the best high school students, we aim to provide a good example of supporting excellent people who represent the future of our country,” General Manager of NCR Corporation in Serbia Stefan Lazarević explained.

Help with the organization of the event was provided by the Traffic Police and the Military Medical Academy, Coca-Cola Company, Apostolic Christian Church choir, volunteers from “Kingdom of Serbia” Association and students from Link Academy.

The ceremony was attended by HE Mr. Mladen Sarcevic, Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development, HE Mrs Natalija Trivić, Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska, Mr. Stefan Lazarevic, General Manager of NCR Corporation in Serbia, Mrs Milica Zorić, Marketing Director of Link Group, academician Milovan Danojlic, member of the Crown Council, as well as numerous other personalities from the world of culture, art and science.

The best graduated students of all high schools in Serbia and the Republic of Srpska were glad to receive the news that the company Link Group will grant 30 scholarships for their prestigious ITA Academy. The winning ceremony is going to be held in September at the White Palace.
